In fact, it is all he can remember. "I can remember the title, author and location of every book in this library, Matthew. ✘ He was also, for all intents and purposes, Dream's majordomo and the general overseer of the castle's operations. ✘ Could be quite the worrywart. ✘ His last memory of the Dreaming before landing in the City is Morpheus' funeral (The Sandman's "The Wake").
